A day in the life of: Greg Proctor, Project Manager
Anatwine deliver integration projects on a huge scale, and our Delivery Team is crucial to this process! Our Project Managers are responsible for ensuring the smooth and successful conclusion of projects to maximise Anatwine’s efficiency and keep our clients happy. We caught up with Greg to get some more insight into what a day in the life of an Anatwine Project Manager looks like.
Name: Greg Proctor
Job title: Project Manager
What does it mean to be a Project Manager at Anatwine? My role mostly involves working with external clients to deliver integration projects, which connect brands and retailers together, creating Anatwine’s revenue.
How long have you been here? I have worked at Anatwine for a year; in fact, my anniversary is next week.
What’s the coolest thing you’re working on right now? I’m currently integrating a new retailer to one of our major sports brands whilst also managing a complex Mirakl integration between an existing brand and one of our retail platforms. Both of these continue to challenge me - technically and organisationally - on a daily basis.
What do you do from day to day? As with most project management roles, my job is really varied. I work closely with our clients across Europe on their ongoing projects, which can involve anything from hosting meetings to managing and reporting issues, risks, and progress.
I collaborate frequently with the rest of the delivery team, along with other Anatwine departments, to resolve issues and discover improved ways of working.
If you weren’t a project manager what would you be? I’d probably still be providing liquid ink technical support on presses, printing cigarette cartons and sweet wrappers.
What is the best thing about Anatwine? We have recently rebranded and repositioned ourselves; the relaunched Anatwine has a hunger for making things happen and an energy which drives the business and individuals forward. There is a really strong sense of direction now, with updated company values and a revitalised business culture!
Being part of this process and seeing the introduction of new procedures means I am able to interact, input, and shape the future of the company and my role within it; I have more control of my own destiny at Anatwine than anywhere else that I have worked.
